Pak Telecom Pensioners 3 Days Hunger Strike Ends in Multan

PTCL pensioners demanded increase in pension

Multan (Wednesday, September 18th, 2013) – Today three days hunger strike and sit-in (Dharna) of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) retired employees  ended.

This Hunger strike remained from Monday, September 16 to Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Nawan Shehr Chowk Multan near central telephone exchange and press club.

On last day PML-N senator Muhammad Rafique Rajwana show solidarity with the protestors and assure full support for getting their rights.

Senator Rajwana participated with lawyers and told that they will meet Information technology (IT) minister and try his best for payment of dues to pensioners.

After this organizers of sit-in announced to end hunger strike.

Participants of hunger strike were:-

Saif-ud-Din Qureshi, Pervaiz Bhatti, Allah Wasaya, Ch. Abdul Sattar, Muhammad Alam, Muhammad Naeem and Muneer Ahmad Dukhi and many more.
