35% Increase in House Rent Ceiling, Approved for NTC Employees:

National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) has announced 35% increase in House Requisition Grant for its Employees, which was lying pending since last year.

Islamabad (Wednesday, July 30th, 2015) – Federal Government’s The Ministry of Housing and Works forwarded a summary requesting a 100% increase in the house rent ceiling for all federal government employees after a country wide market survey and an analysis of inflation trends, but due to the economic crunch in the country the Prime Minister of Pakistan approved a 35% hike, in October 2014. House rent allowance are granted to eligible government employees who are not living in government residential colonies.
Up till now, NTC employees were waiting for approval of the same from management to implement the federal government decision in the organization. NTC employees are delighted on announcement of increase in rental ceiling and express the jubilation. It is joyful to mention here that Arrears for previous months has also been approved by the management,
Employees welcomed the decision and gave thanks the management to fulfill their demand. On the occasion, employees also put in remembrance of the management that 10% increase in salaries, announced in federal budget session 2014 and implemented in mostly other federal government departments, is still lying pending and waiting for their attention.
