Establishment of Data Centre: NTC Signed an Agreement With M/S Inbox

Islamabad (March 28, 2016): National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) & M/s Inbox Business Technologies, have signed an agreement for establishment of NTC’s Data Centre. A ceremony was held in this regard on Friday, 25 March 2016 here at Islamabad.

As per NTC, this will be a state of the art highly equipped Cloud based Center with aim to have variety of services and latest technologies. After completion NTC will be able to provide ICT quality services to the Government bodies, at present, which are being offered by private partnerships with known service providers.

Speaking to the ceremony, Chairman NTC Brig (R) Viqar Rashid Khan, said “NTC being the only Telecom and IT Service Provider of the Federal Government, is offering ICT Services to the entities of Government of Pakistan and has always played a proactive prominent role in the field.


Chairman further added that NTC is making all efforts to facilitate its respected customers with quality services and keeping ourselves up-to-date with the latest market trends. He expressed that extension of reliable and secure data communication services to the government departments is an extreme important and need of the time particularly when there are cyber threats. Security situation of the country and around the world demands for safe and secured Data Centre and this will be the first step toward needed security.

DG (Technical) NTC Engr. Miraj Gul, told about the features of newly planned Data Centre and expressed that the project would be completed well in time with professional excellence.

The CEO Inbox Business Technologies also expressed his thoughts at the occasion and showed his concern to work closely with NTC for successful completion of the project and long term business relations within the organizations.
